Pre-Kindergarten Pioneers

The Pre-K classroom is designed for children who will move along to kindergarten the following school year (ages 4-5).

Usually, after years of being in school settings, these children are ready to tackle new challenges and assignments, like independent problem-solving, new schedule variations, and more advanced fine motor activities.

Although we know that our students will encounter more rigid academic structure in their formal education years, we remain focused on sharpening social-emotional skills and continuing to learn through hands-on activities. Even the older age classrooms are equipped with dramatic play centers for imaginative play, rug space for large gross motor activities like group yoga and coordinated movement, and tables for building and more advanced art projects.
